Question 1

Was $7,250 a good price for this 2020 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

410 comparable 2020 BMW X7 listings sold at auction for a median of $21,500, spanning $11,200 to $28,000. At $7,250 this one went 66% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BMW X7 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this BMW X7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - HESPERIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 79,789 miles high for a 2020 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW X7 listings at auction averaged 77,390 miles across 410 sales, so at 79,789 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 BMW X7. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2020 BMW X7 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rollover damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
