Question 1

What do water/flood 2022 BMW X7 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2022 BMW X7 with water/flood damage, the median was $22,900, from $11,800 to $34,000. That is 13% below the $26,425 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,700 a good price for this 2022 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

377 comparable 2022 BMW X7 listings sold at auction for a median of $26,425, spanning $15,200 to $38,500. At $20,700 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This BMW X7 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 BMW X7's pre-damage retail value at $39,828. It sold for $20,700 — 48% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

Is 86,595 miles high for a 2022 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 BMW X7 listings at auction averaged 48,162 miles across 377 sales, so at 86,595 miles this one sits 80% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 BMW X7 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
