Was $6,000 a good price for this 2012 BMW X6?

16 comparable 2012 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,875, spanning $3,650 to $11,500. At $6,000 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a dealer only clean title (p) mean for this BMW X6?

This 2012 BMW X6 was sold on a dealer only clean title (p). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

How far is this BMW X6 from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in NC - MOCKSVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2012 BMW X6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 179,130 miles high for a 2012 BMW X6?

Comparable 2012 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 102,473 miles across 16 sales, so at 179,130 miles this one sits 75% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

This BMW X6 has minor dent/scratches and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
