Question 1

What do rear end 2018 BMW X6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 29 recorded sales of the 2018 BMW X6 with rear end damage, the median was $11,250, from $7,300 to $16,800. That is 19% above the $9,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2018 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

279 comparable 2018 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,450, spanning $4,750 to $16,200. At $8,000 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 BMW X6's pre-damage retail value at $19,036. It sold for $8,000 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW X6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This BMW X6 has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 137,822 miles high for a 2018 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 92,834 miles across 279 sales, so at 137,822 miles this one sits 48% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
