Question 1

What do front end 2017 BMW X6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 110 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW X6 with front end damage, the median was $6,900, from $3,675 to $13,900. That is 14% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2017 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

252 comparable 2017 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,200 to $14,800. At $7,500 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 BMW X6's pre-damage retail value at $17,575. It sold for $7,500 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this BMW X6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - NEW BRITAIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW X6 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 130,060 miles high for a 2017 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 103,667 miles across 252 sales, so at 130,060 miles this one sits 25% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
