Question 1

What do front end 2016 BMW X6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 152 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW X6 with front end damage, the median was $6,700, from $3,750 to $11,200. That is 7% below the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,300 a good price for this 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

372 comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $3,950 to $11,900. At $12,300 this one went 71% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 BMW X6's pre-damage retail value at $27,734. It sold for $12,300 — 56% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW X6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW X6 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 146,878 miles high for a 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 119,922 miles across 372 sales, so at 146,878 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
