Question 1

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW X6 M. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 2

Is 90,777 miles high for a 2016 BMW X6 M?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X6 M listings at auction averaged 96,483 miles across 12 sales, so at 90,777 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2016 BMW X6 M?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2016 BMW X6 M come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5YMKW8C53G0R43370?

Accepted Answer

5YMKW8C53G0R43370 identifies this specific 2016 BMW X6 M in silver with a 4.4l v-8 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 567hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 BMW X6 M from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 BMW X6 M was listed at IAAI as lot 44324775 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
