Question 1

Was $36,500 a good price for this 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

370 comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,238, spanning $3,950 to $12,200. At $36,500 this one went 404% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW X6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This BMW X6 has previous repair and minor dents/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 136,790 miles high for a 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 119,123 miles across 370 sales, so at 136,790 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this BMW X6 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART UAE in DUBAI INDUSTRIAL CITY - DUBAI. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Did this 2016 BMW X6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with previous repair damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
