Question 1

What do unknown 2017 BMW X5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW X5 with unknown damage, the median was $5,800, from $3,175 to $12,400. That is 19% below the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,400 a good price for this 2017 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

1812 comparable 2017 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,000 to $12,100. At $12,400 this one went 72% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW X5 was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this BMW X5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 70,001 miles high for a 2017 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW X5 listings at auction averaged 106,249 miles across 1812 sales, so at 70,001 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW X5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
