Question 1

What do front & rear 2017 BMW X5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW X5 with front & rear damage, the median was $5,650, from $3,200 to $9,450. That is 23% below the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,225 a good price for this 2017 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

1778 comparable 2017 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,050 to $12,300. At $5,225 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This BMW X5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

This BMW X5 has front & rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title-tx mean for this BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW X5 was sold on a salvage title-tx. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

How far is this BMW X5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - MORGANVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
