Was $12,525 a good price for this 2016 BMW X5?

1927 comparable 2016 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,650 to $11,300. At $12,525 this one went 99% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X5 sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 BMW X5's pre-damage retail value at $22,644. It sold for $12,525 — 45% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage (oregon) mean for this BMW X5?

This 2016 BMW X5 was sold on a salvage (oregon). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 66,810 miles high for a 2016 BMW X5?

Comparable 2016 BMW X5 listings at auction averaged 112,329 miles across 1927 sales, so at 66,810 miles this one sits 41% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

This BMW X5 has rear and damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Who sold this 2016 BMW X5?

The listing seller was State Farm Group Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
