Question 1

What do front end 2015 BMW X5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2015 BMW X5 with front end damage, the median was $6,125, from $4,850 to $10,450. That is 20% below the $7,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,950 a good price for this 2015 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

325 comparable 2015 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,700, spanning $4,950 to $12,200. At $6,950 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 BMW X5. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 96,641 miles high for a 2015 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 BMW X5 listings at auction averaged 116,969 miles across 325 sales, so at 96,641 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This BMW X5 has front end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2015 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Progressive Casualty Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
