Was $6,450 a good price for this 2017 BMW X5?

1805 comparable 2017 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,000 to $12,200. At $6,450 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X5 sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 BMW X5's pre-damage retail value at $24,364. It sold for $6,450 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a original (texas) mean for this BMW X5?

This 2017 BMW X5 was sold on a original (texas). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Is 93,817 miles high for a 2017 BMW X5?

Comparable 2017 BMW X5 listings at auction averaged 106,146 miles across 1805 sales, so at 93,817 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW X5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This BMW X5 has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
