Question 1

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2012 BMW X3's pre-damage retail value at $13,671. It sold for $4,475 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 2

What does a bill of sale (washington) mean for this BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

This 2012 BMW X3 was sold on a bill of sale (washington). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

This BMW X3 has front & rear and right front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Who sold this 2012 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Geico Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5UXWX7C51CL736789?

Accepted Answer

5UXWX7C51CL736789 identifies this specific 2012 BMW X3 in blue with a 3.0l i-6 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 300hp engine, all-wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2012 BMW X3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
