Question 1

What do flood 2021 BMW X3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2021 BMW X3 with flood damage, the median was $8,875, from $5,900 to $12,450. That is 19% below the $11,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,775 a good price for this 2021 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

1511 comparable 2021 BMW X3 listings sold at auction for a median of $11,000, spanning $5,500 to $18,100. At $9,775 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This BMW X3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 BMW X3 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 86,231 miles high for a 2021 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW X3 listings at auction averaged 54,109 miles across 1511 sales, so at 86,231 miles this one sits 59% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 BMW X3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
