Question 1

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2016 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

608 comparable 2016 BMW X3 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $6,700. At $3,100 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW X3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This BMW X3 has biohazard and left rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 130,912 miles high for a 2016 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X3 listings at auction averaged 95,094 miles across 608 sales, so at 130,912 miles this one sits 38% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 BMW X3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with biohazard damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5UXWX9C56G0D91622?

Accepted Answer

5UXWX9C56G0D91622 identifies this specific 2016 BMW X3 in black with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 240hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
