Was $5,500 a good price for this 2017 BMW X3?

1157 comparable 2017 BMW X3 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,288, spanning $3,200 to $6,800. At $5,500 this one went 28% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a cert of title-repossession (p) mean for this BMW X3?

This 2017 BMW X3 was sold on a cert of title-repossession (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW X3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this BMW X3 from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in OH - COLUMBUS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 142,409 miles high for a 2017 BMW X3?

Comparable 2017 BMW X3 listings at auction averaged 91,509 miles across 1157 sales, so at 142,409 miles this one sits 56% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
