Question 1

Was $28,250 a good price for this 2020 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

1265 comparable 2020 BMW X3 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,800, spanning $5,300 to $16,825. At $28,250 this one went 188% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This BMW X3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 BMW X3's pre-damage retail value at $73,344. It sold for $28,250 — 61% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BMW X3 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 BMW X3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 83,319 miles high for a 2020 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW X3 listings at auction averaged 65,383 miles across 1265 sales, so at 83,319 miles this one sits 27% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
