Question 1

This BMW X2 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

How far is this BMW X2 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - MARKHAM. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 25,635 miles high for a 2025 BMW X2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 BMW X2 listings at auction averaged 12,510 miles across 104 sales, so at 25,635 miles this one sits 105% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2025 BMW X2?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN WBX63GM07S5097968?

Accepted Answer

WBX63GM07S5097968 identifies this specific 2025 BMW X2 in black with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, premium , 241hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2025 BMW X2 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2025 BMW X2 was listed at IAAI as lot 45917575 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
