Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 BMW X2 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2018 BMW X2 with water/flood damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,700 to $7,000. That is 10% below the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,800 a good price for this 2018 BMW X2?

Accepted Answer

582 comparable 2018 BMW X2 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,400 to $7,600. At $7,800 this one went 53% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X2 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 BMW X2's pre-damage retail value at $25,140. It sold for $7,800 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW X2?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BMW X2 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

Is 74,206 miles high for a 2018 BMW X2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BMW X2 listings at auction averaged 80,965 miles across 582 sales, so at 74,206 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW X2. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
