Question 1

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2020 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

128 comparable 2020 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $18,700, spanning $8,100 to $35,750. At $6,700 this one went 64% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 BMW M5's pre-damage retail value at $11,570. It sold for $6,700 — 42% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BMW M5 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 76,057 miles high for a 2020 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW M5 listings at auction averaged 53,910 miles across 128 sales, so at 76,057 miles this one sits 41% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this BMW M5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MD - BALTIMORE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Did this 2020 BMW M5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with all over damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
