Question 1

What do all over 2019 BMW M5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW M5 with all over damage, the median was $13,300, from $7,000 to $24,200. That is 24% below the $17,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,750 a good price for this 2019 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

225 comparable 2019 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $17,550, spanning $6,900 to $30,750. At $4,750 this one went 73% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This BMW M5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 BMW M5's pre-damage retail value at $41,903. It sold for $4,750 — 89% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a mv-907a salvage certificate mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW M5 was sold on a mv-907a salvage certificate. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

How far is this BMW M5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - NEWBURGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
