Question 1

What do front end 2021 BMW M5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2021 BMW M5 with front end damage, the median was $20,200, from $12,000 to $35,250. That is 15% below the $23,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,950 a good price for this 2021 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

117 comparable 2021 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $23,850, spanning $11,900 to $39,250. At $12,950 this one went 46% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 BMW M5 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this BMW M5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This BMW M5 has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 49,623 miles high for a 2021 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW M5 listings at auction averaged 48,953 miles across 117 sales, so at 49,623 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
