Question 1

What does a salvage mean for this BMW M4?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW M4 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

This BMW M4 has right rear and front & rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 44,637 miles high for a 2019 BMW M4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW M4 listings at auction averaged 54,808 miles across 56 sales, so at 44,637 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2019 BMW M4?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was MERCURY INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2019 BMW M4 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with right rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 BMW M4 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 BMW M4 was listed at IAAI as lot 46179687 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
