Was $35,600 a good price for this 2018 BMW M3?

215 comparable 2018 BMW M3 listings sold at auction for a median of $18,650, spanning $8,900 to $27,200. At $35,600 this one went 91% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M3 sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 BMW M3's pre-damage retail value at $57,682. It sold for $35,600 — 38% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Where was this BMW M3 located?

The lot was held at IAAI in ACE - Perris (CA). Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Who sold this 2018 BMW M3?

The listing seller was Auto Club of Southern CA (ACSC). Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Did this 2018 BMW M3 come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Can I buy this 2018 BMW M3 from AutoBidCar?
