Question 1

What do side 2018 BMW M3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2018 BMW M3 with side damage, the median was $17,200, from $7,700 to $22,200. That is 8% below the $18,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,700 a good price for this 2018 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

215 comparable 2018 BMW M3 listings sold at auction for a median of $18,700, spanning $8,900 to $27,250. At $7,700 this one went 59% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BMW M3 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW M3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 49,140 miles high for a 2018 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BMW M3 listings at auction averaged 60,424 miles across 215 sales, so at 49,140 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - ANTELOPE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
