Was $11,700 a good price for this 2017 BMW M3?

96 comparable 2017 BMW M3 listings sold at auction for a median of $15,400, spanning $8,125 to $23,600. At $11,700 this one went 24% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M3 sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 BMW M3's pre-damage retail value at $52,954. It sold for $11,700 — 78% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this BMW M3?

This 2017 BMW M3 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in SC - HARLEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW M3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Did this 2017 BMW M3 come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
