Question 1

What do front end 2017 BMW M3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 48 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW M3 with front end damage, the median was $16,400, from $9,400 to $22,000. That is 3% above the $15,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - VAN NUYS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW M3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 74,150 miles high for a 2017 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW M3 listings at auction averaged 61,603 miles across 97 sales, so at 74,150 miles this one sits 20% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 BMW M3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBS8M9C51H5G84652?

Accepted Answer

WBS8M9C51H5G84652 identifies this specific 2017 BMW M3 in black with a 3.0l 6 engine, rear wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
