Question 1

This BMW M3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2013 BMW M3's pre-damage retail value at $31,134. It sold for $9,600 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a cert of title-salvage mean for this BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 BMW M3 was sold on a cert of title-salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in SC - COLUMBIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 BMW M3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2013 BMW M3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2013 BMW M3 was listed at COPART as lot 66726473 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
