Question 1

Was $15,850 a good price for this 2023 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

78 comparable 2023 BMW M2 listings sold at auction for a median of $18,400, spanning $8,000 to $32,700. At $15,850 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 BMW M2 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this BMW M2 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - SANFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 22,473 miles high for a 2023 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 20,719 miles across 78 sales, so at 22,473 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2023 BMW M2 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with all over damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Who sold this 2023 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
