Question 1

Was $13,900 a good price for this 2017 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

79 comparable 2017 BMW M2 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,375, spanning $5,100 to $16,200. At $13,900 this one went 48% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M2 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 BMW M2's pre-damage retail value at $41,500. It sold for $13,900 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW M2 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This BMW M2 has side and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW M2. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 39,878 miles high for a 2017 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 68,559 miles across 79 sales, so at 39,878 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
