Question 1

What do rear end 2016 BMW M2 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW M2 with rear end damage, the median was $6,400, from $3,850 to $9,100. That is 13% above the $5,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,600 a good price for this 2016 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

141 comparable 2016 BMW M2 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,650, spanning $3,550 to $8,800. At $13,600 this one went 141% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M2 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 BMW M2's pre-damage retail value at $24,724. It sold for $13,600 — 45% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW M2 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This BMW M2 has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 112,124 miles high for a 2016 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 80,232 miles across 141 sales, so at 112,124 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
