Question 1

What do front end 2024 BMW IX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 139 recorded sales of the 2024 BMW IX with front end damage, the median was $22,275, from $13,300 to $33,500. That is 10% below the $24,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,850 a good price for this 2024 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

317 comparable 2024 BMW IX listings sold at auction for a median of $24,800, spanning $13,300 to $34,500. At $17,850 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 BMW IX was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 7,917 miles high for a 2024 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 BMW IX listings at auction averaged 22,162 miles across 317 sales, so at 7,917 miles this one sits 64% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This BMW IX has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2024 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was GEICO. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
