Question 1

What do side 2024 BMW IX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 33 recorded sales of the 2024 BMW IX with side damage, the median was $22,600, from $12,300 to $33,500. That is 9% below the $24,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 BMW IX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 BMW IX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 31,604 miles high for a 2024 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 BMW IX listings at auction averaged 22,557 miles across 332 sales, so at 31,604 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This BMW IX has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this BMW IX located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in ON - OTTAWA. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
