Question 1

How far is this BMW 7ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - RANCHO CUCAMONGA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 BMW 7ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 86,770 miles high for a 2020 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW 7ER listings at auction averaged 68,259 miles across 256 sales, so at 86,770 miles this one sits 27% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2020 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was BRISTOL WEST INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2020 BMW 7ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBA7U2C04LGM27863?

Accepted Answer

WBA7U2C04LGM27863 identifies this specific 2020 BMW 7ER in white with a 4.4l 8 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
