Question 1

Was $15,300 a good price for this 2020 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

256 comparable 2020 BMW 7ER listings sold at auction for a median of $14,900, spanning $7,400 to $22,300. At $15,300 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BMW 7ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 7ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - COLUMBUS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This BMW 7ER has front & rear and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 BMW 7ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 66,514 miles high for a 2020 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW 7ER listings at auction averaged 68,259 miles across 256 sales, so at 66,514 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
