Question 1

What do rear 2019 BMW 7ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW 7ER with rear damage, the median was $9,625, from $5,450 to $13,300. That is 7% above the $9,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,400 a good price for this 2019 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

345 comparable 2019 BMW 7ER listings sold at auction for a median of $9,000, spanning $4,725 to $13,800. At $8,400 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This BMW 7ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 7ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - FREMONT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW 7ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

This BMW 7ER has rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
