Question 1

What do mechanical 2019 BMW 7ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW 7ER with mechanical damage, the median was $8,450, from $6,200 to $10,500. That is 6% below the $9,025 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,300 a good price for this 2019 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

340 comparable 2019 BMW 7ER listings sold at auction for a median of $9,025, spanning $4,725 to $13,800. At $7,300 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 7ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - RANCHO CUCAMONGA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 81,400 miles high for a 2019 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW 7ER listings at auction averaged 83,981 miles across 340 sales, so at 81,400 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 BMW 7ER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This BMW 7ER has mechanical and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
