Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 BMW 7ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 42 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW 7ER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $6,900, from $4,050 to $9,500. That is 6% above the $6,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This BMW 7ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW 7ER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 7ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SAN DIEGO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 77,779 miles high for a 2016 BMW 7ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW 7ER listings at auction averaged 96,858 miles across 507 sales, so at 77,779 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW 7ER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
