Question 1

This BMW 7 SERIES sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW 7 SERIES?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 BMW 7 SERIES was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 7 SERIES from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LOUISVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This BMW 7 SERIES has front end and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN WBAYF4C56FD874142?

Accepted Answer

WBAYF4C56FD874142 identifies this specific 2015 BMW 7 SERIES in black with a 3.0l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2015 BMW 7 SERIES from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2015 BMW 7 SERIES was listed at COPART as lot 68091294 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
