Question 1

Was $10,500 a good price for this 2017 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

80 comparable 2017 BMW 6ER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,125, spanning $3,900 to $10,600. At $10,500 this one went 47% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 6ER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 BMW 6ER's pre-damage retail value at $23,578. It sold for $10,500 — 55% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW 6ER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 6ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TN - LEBANON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 84,063 miles high for a 2017 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW 6ER listings at auction averaged 81,132 miles across 80 sales, so at 84,063 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This BMW 6ER has hail and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
