Question 1

This BMW 6ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

How far is this BMW 6ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW 6ER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This BMW 6ER has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 106,267 miles high for a 2016 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW 6ER listings at auction averaged 94,639 miles across 141 sales, so at 106,267 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 BMW 6ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 BMW 6ER was listed at COPART as lot 71698086 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
