Question 1

What do front end 2026 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 69 recorded sales of the 2026 BMW 5ER with front end damage, the median was $26,875, from $9,900 to $37,000. That is 10% below the $29,875 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $36,100 a good price for this 2026 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

129 comparable 2026 BMW 5ER listings sold at auction for a median of $29,875, spanning $12,100 to $41,000. At $36,100 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 5ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - CARSON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 BMW 5ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 887 miles high for a 2026 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 7,750 miles across 129 sales, so at 887 miles this one sits 89% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2026 BMW 5ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
