Question 1

What do front end 2024 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 146 recorded sales of the 2024 BMW 5ER with front end damage, the median was $26,000, from $15,400 to $35,250. That is 5% below the $27,375 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 BMW 5ER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 5ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - OPA LOCKA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This BMW 5ER has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 30,549 miles high for a 2024 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 19,944 miles across 303 sales, so at 30,549 miles this one sits 53% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2024 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was SIXT. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
