Question 1

What do water/flood 2023 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2023 BMW 5ER with water/flood damage, the median was $15,000, from $9,500 to $19,100. That is 20% below the $18,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this BMW 5ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 49,147 miles high for a 2023 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 32,048 miles across 462 sales, so at 49,147 miles this one sits 53% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2023 BMW 5ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Who sold this 2023 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was AIG INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBA73BJ09PCM76754?

Accepted Answer

WBA73BJ09PCM76754 identifies this specific 2023 BMW 5ER in black with a 3.0l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
