Question 1

What do left side 2023 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2023 BMW 5ER with left side damage, the median was $18,275, from $8,500 to $26,450. That is 3% below the $18,775 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,700 a good price for this 2023 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

461 comparable 2023 BMW 5ER listings sold at auction for a median of $18,775, spanning $9,500 to $26,550. At $14,700 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 BMW 5ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 BMW 5ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This BMW 5ER has left side and right rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 29,890 miles high for a 2023 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 32,009 miles across 461 sales, so at 29,890 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
