Question 1

What do front end 2021 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 407 recorded sales of the 2021 BMW 5ER with front end damage, the median was $14,100, from $7,100 to $22,800. That is 6% below the $14,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This BMW 5ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 5ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This BMW 5ER has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 65,270 miles high for a 2021 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 58,502 miles across 777 sales, so at 65,270 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2021 BMW 5ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2021 BMW 5ER was listed at COPART as lot 70875856 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
