Question 1

What do rear end 2019 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 133 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW 5ER with rear end damage, the median was $10,500, from $6,700 to $15,400. That is 12% above the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,850 a good price for this 2019 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

1588 comparable 2019 BMW 5ER listings sold at auction for a median of $9,400, spanning $5,100 to $14,500. At $20,850 this one went 122% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 5ER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 BMW 5ER's pre-damage retail value at $47,106. It sold for $20,850 — 56% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW 5ER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This BMW 5ER has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2019 BMW 5ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
