Question 1

What do front end 2019 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 717 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW 5ER with front end damage, the median was $9,100, from $5,000 to $14,300. That is 4% below the $9,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW 5ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

Is 106,459 miles high for a 2019 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 76,637 miles across 1510 sales, so at 106,459 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2019 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2019 BMW 5ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
