Question 1

What does a ab-non-repairable-alberta mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW 5ER was sold on a ab-non-repairable-alberta. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

This BMW 5ER has water and engine damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 118,630 miles high for a 2019 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 76,637 miles across 1510 sales, so at 118,630 miles this one sits 55% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2019 BMW 5ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Where was this BMW 5ER located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ACHESON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 BMW 5ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 BMW 5ER was listed at IAAI as lot 12692121 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
